“Gilbeot Rainbow” is a typeface that supports various lives and existence, contains the pride of sexual minorities, and is the first complete fully colored Korean font. It is a Korean version of the English typeface “Gilbert” and the font inherits the meaning of the rainbow flag designed by Gilbert Baker in 1978 to support people of various identities, including sexual minorities, and is a typeface based on the six colors(Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet). The name “Gilbeot contains two meanings; its connection of inheriting “Gilbert Baker” and being “Gilbeot”, the companion the journey to a society that respects diversity. The color font “Gilbeot Rainbow” is made with colors of the rainbow flag devised by Gilbert Baker, whose colors are very charming and attractive.
