폰트를 고르고 계시는군요! 산돌구름에는 폰트가 많아서 고르기도 쉽지 않죠. 그렇다면 제가 도와드릴게요.안녕하세요, 저는 21년생 테리에요. 산돌 캐릭터 중에서 제가 좀 설명을 잘하는 편이거든요.먼저, ‘몇 글자부터 몇 문장 정도의 짧은 글’에 쓰신다면 직관적으로 판단하셔도 충분해요. “그래 이 느낌이지” 하는 거로요. 환경에서 100% 크기로 보시기를 권해드려요. 글자는 크기에 따라 느낌이 크게 달라지거든요. 아담할 때 매력적인 디자인, 큼직할 때 매력적인 디자인이 있어요. 대부분 폰트는 가장 돋보이는 크기 영역이 있답니다. 예를 들어 그레타산스 Heavy처럼 굵은 폰트를 작게 써버리면 획끼리 뭉쳐서 산뜻하지 않을 수도 있어요. 그럴 때는 Bold로 한 단계 낮춰주시면 좋아요. 한편, ‘몇천 자부터 몇만 자 정도의 긴 글’에 쓰실 폰트를 고르신다면 담백하고 안정적인 것을 권해드려요. 적잖이 피곤한 여정이 될 테니까요. 이럴 때는 글자끼리의 균형을 살피시는 게 도움이 될 거예요. 다음 낱말을 소리 내 최대한 빠르고 정확하게 읽어보시겠어요? 머리 대리, 명작 띵작, 댕이 멍이, 제비 제네, 귀리 커리, 괄시 팔시. 어때요? 폰트에 따라 차이가 날 거예요. 빠르고 정확할수록 판독성이 좋은 폰트인 거죠. 실제 글에도 폰트를 바꿔가며 ‘빨리 소리 내 정확히 읽어보기’를 해보시면 어떨까요? 폰트를 고르는 기준을 만드는 데 도움이 되었다면 다음에도 찾아주세요~ 저는 테리였습니다♥
JEpisode_Flashback is the second series in the JEpisode family. (We released JEpisode in 2020, and JEpisode_Flashback in 2021)
JEpisode_Flashback is planned by reversing the horizontal and vertical stroke thickness of JEpisode, and it shows the expansion of a new family. To continue the family of the JEpisode, it shows the proper distribution of curves and straight lines within the letters, but shows the opposite impression through the inversion of the stroke contrast. We referenced legendary Korean typeface designer Choi Jeong-Ho’s Gong-Jak font a motif, aiming for the “future in touch with past” typeface. It is a typeface that took the sentiment of retro but released by adding worries about fonts that are needed in this era.
