Chunhyangjeon is a pansori novel written by an unknown author during the Joseon Dynasty. At first, it was called only pansori, but as it became popular with the public, it was established as a novel and an engraved version was published.
The Chunhyangjeon font expresses the characteristics of the manuscript as is.
Looking at the letters, the strokes are not broken due to the stroke of the brush, and the middle consonant is connected to the final consonant.
The strokes have strength and weakness to make them lively rather than monotonous, and the diagonal strokes are designed to give a sense of speed through the letters. In addition, the chiseling, a feature of the edition, was expressed to bring out the details of old writing.
